San Andreas Fault

Not all parts are dramatic. Some places you can’t even really tell it’s there. It might be under a parking lot or something. There are some fairly spectacular fault sites, so make sure you choose a spectacular one and not a “hey, look, the fault runs under our store” kind of things…

I just think it would be cool to see where two plates meet. I don’t want to go inside it, I just want to stand at the edge of a plate…or at least near it. I think it would make me feel very human and ‘one with the earth’. Honestly, I don’t even know how big it is, or how close I could get to it. I must research.
