This place is a peice of my heart. Got a family farm there I plan to protect when the older ones all have passed, small, small, small, ahh the sweet country side still survives. Salt Fork Park is about 15 min. outside of there closest to cambridge I think was reforrested over strip mine area, 17,000 acres of water the damn broke about 1.5 years ago not sure what the water level has risen to. Kick Ass resort for conferences or rooms, inside park, offers Cabins aswell. Cool to see mother earth regenerate so well, and every once in awhile you’ll pass signs of people who lived long before you if you go of the paths there. Never went to it but there is a place close to that park called The Wilds that is a refuge for Zebra’s and Elephants and Girraffes and other African animals you pay a small fee to drive through. Closed in winter months
