I’ve been looking forward to this since I was a kid. Can’t wait! over 5 years agoWent in 1994. by larelleHad the best time. Gay men are SO fit. There was one lady in the crowd next to where me and my friend were standing saying “Phwoah! Look at that one! I’d love to turn him! Gay blokes are SO hot!”. What was more comical was that the lady was 60 if she was a day! over 5 years agoUntitled by cranberrygoddessWent there in 1998. It was pretty exciting. Killed my legs walking in platform shoes though! And then got a taxi on the way back and went broke from the cost of it (sitting in traffic for so long). You don’t have to be gay to love it, it’s for everyone :) over 5 years agoDone! by superbeccOnly I’d advise watching the parade first time round, rather than actually marching in it. The latter wouldn’t’ve been a problem had they (as we’d been told) channelled the marchers back into the spectator area after we were done marching. The group I marched with were close to the front, so I’d still have seen a lot of the parade. They didn’t do that, however, so I missed the greater portion of it. Still, good to do. Next time I’ll watch, and probably enjoy it all the more for knowing I’ve already march and would prefer to be a spectator (it’s hard work for an introvert to be that “on” for such a long march!). over 5 years agoABSOLUTELY AMAZING - YOU MUST GO!!! by fionascotlandThis is place that has to be seen and the LGB Mardi Gras is a highlight, particularly the police show!!! over 5 years agoSee all 6 entries |
