Highland Lakes

Highland Lakes is a residential community within the larger township of Vernon, New Jersey, in scenic Sussex County. Situated atop Wawayanda Mountain and abutting rugged and beautiful Wawayanda State Park, it is a great place to live. Yes, we get a bit too much snow during some winters, and yes, the black bears tend to be a problem sometimes…. but it’s a cool place to be, all 4 seasons.
