Who knew that some of the best, most innovative sushi would be found in a small suburban shopping mall outside of Baltimore? No, seriously. I wish they were closer to Boston – I mean, it’s not like there isn’t some pretty good sushi in the Bay State, but Sushi-Ya is the closest I’ve seen to good West Coast sushi on the East Coast, and that includes NYC.
