This place sucks so bad I’m not even sure if it is worth driving thru. I happen to be stuck here right now but can’t wait to get out and would never come back here again not even to visit. Was treated like a mass murderer at their hospital because I went there for depression, which this place will give you, and because I didn’t want their so called help and left the Dr. I saw said I was suicidal(which I never told him I was, I said I was depressed), he went and made up this lie and had me committed. I was awakened the next morning by Goldsboros finest(hahaha) and taken back to their po’dunk hospital where I was strip surched and robbed of $200. then transfered to Cherry Mental Hospital where I was again strip searched and had to wait for a shreink to give me an evaluation. This evaualtion took place within an hour or so and included about 4 or 5 student Dr.s after this rather quick talk with the Dr. and students none of them saw any reason for me to be there and the Dr. signed my release papers. They then let me use a phone so that I could call for a ride but when my ride arrived they would not release me because they could not find my belongings. When I tried to tell them that I wasn’t worried about the stuff that it could all be replaced they still wouldn’t release me. I then used the pay phone in the lobby where they were holding me and called Goldboros finest and told them that I was being illegally held there that my papers were signed and that I was free to go. Then 1 of the hospital staff called them back and told them not to send anyone out there and told me that if I tried to use the pay phone again that they would have me recommitted and that I would never get out of there. Now, you tell me, is this any place you would want to even have a flat tire? they could make a horror film about this!!! On top of all that I tried calling atleast a half a dozen attorneys in this place and none of them would take this case plus the hospital is billing me for 2 visits to their E.R..After the way I was treated and the fact that someone there stole $200. from me, I will never pay them a dime. I would sit in jail before they would get any money from me and would die before I would ever go to Wayne County Hospital again!!!! DON’T EVERCOMEHEREANDEVEN IF YOUHAVE TO DRIVE 100 MILESOUT OF YOURWAY, IT IS WORTHEVERYMILE TO AVOIDTHISPLACE!!!!
