Burton On Trent

I visited Burton via canal boat. We stopped twice in Burton, once on the way out of the marina, and once again on the way back. Burton on Trent was the largest city that we visited during our week on the canal.

People in Burton were great. We ate lunch at a pub on the main square in town. While we were there we met the owner. He was planning to get married the next day. His finance had to go to Uttoxeter (a nearby town). She offered to drive us there, and dropped us off at a castle on the way.

i live here..so i have to say worth visiting.. but the breweries visitors centre is worth it!
