Its a nice hike to the top, and the view is spectacular. Buy a few of the airplanes (for $0.50 US) and send them flying. The road to the column is windy so be safe.

A tip I have about this place
If you are scared of heights (like me), you may not make it all the way to the top. I tried to climb up to check out the view, but it was too scary for me.

Worth visiting!
A review of this place
It really is just a tower that you walk up to the top of, but it’s kind of fun anyways. The area’s pretty and you can see for miles. The whole thing is painted with pictures related to the history of the area. There are some slugs in the grassy areas if you care to look for them.
