Where I enjoyed college life tremendously
Life was simple and fun. I made lifelong friends here as well.
- Enjoy the evening walks around the academic oval (8PM onwards is
- hang out with “org-mates” and friends at Vinzons Hall/Lorena Barros area
- eat fishballs/kikiam/squid balls/cheese sticks in front of Vinzons
- enjoy isaw and barbecue near Ilang-Ilang dormitory
- buy taho and bananacue
- enjoy readings at the Main Library
- ask Oble what life really means after UP; might as well have your photo taken in front of the naked statue
- wait for something violently interesting to happen along the AS walk
- buy UP T-shirts, stickers, stationery at the dilapidated shopping center
- figure-watch at AS Lobby
- watch film re-runs at Film Center
- The first or second week of February is the student fest
- Dec. 16 is the Oblation Run
- Last school Friday of December is the Lantern Parade

A review of this place: IMAGINE THIS!!
this university is supposed to cater the needs for education of the FILIPINOS!!! especially the ones who don’t have money to study in big universities.. U.P should cater to the needs of the FILIPINO students who really deserve to study.. unfortunately, this so called UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES has mostly RICH and FAMOUS students and FOREIGNERS!! imagine that!!! And the TUITION FEE!! A typical Filipino who earns php375.00 a day cant even afford to go here! what more if you;ll enroll in here!! These are only my opinion..

How this place changed my life
I spent four years of my life in U.P. Diliman. Fired up by my own parents’ inspiring theoretical and practical education in this same school, I entered U.P. While the situation my parents were in was different than the one I found when I came, there’s one thing that has not changed at all.
U.P. is still the bastion of critical thinking. I still hold the Oblation as the ultimate symbol of service and self-sacrifice for a greater good.
In U.P. I found my voice… and I still have it 15 years since I took my last undergraduate class.

How this place changed my life
I met so many friends while studying in UP, and after so many years, we’re still in touch (and building a business.) So many fond memories. When you’re inside the campus, it feels like the outside world doesn’t exist anymore.
