Worth visiting!

My daddy's daddy's daddy's dad was from Holly Springs

My family has lived here every since before the War of Northern Aggression, i.e., the Civil War. During the war Ulysses S. Grant lived here. Holly Springs boasts that it was the home of thirteen Confederate generals as well. Hiram Nevels, the first African-American to serve in Congress following Reconstruction, resided in Holly Springs and is buried here.

Holly Springs is rich in history and if you like history and/or Southern Culture, you’ll love this place. Oh, did I mention that the world’s greatest, most congenial people are all in Holly Springs.

The Antebellum Homes are a site to see. Visit Holly Springs’ homepage @ http://www.visithollysprings.org/pilgramage.htm for more info

Not worth visiting!

Grew up on farm in Holly Springs

If you’re into Antebellum homes then this place has them. There’s alot of Civil war history. Personally, I was glad an Army recruiter helped me escape this place.
