Such an awesome little hotel! My parents are staying here for their 10 day visit and love it. They’ve been giving tours to all of my friends that get near the place.

Shared bathrooms with showers are huge and even have mood lighting and music piped in from the front desk. The feel is more pensione than hotel.

I only live two blocks away. by Buster Benson

Despite living only two blocks away from this hotel, I just had to book a night here and experience this brilliant little hotel first hand. I love everything about this place, from the little signs designating everything from drinks in your mini-fridge to the hair salon near the side exit, to the retro vending machine, to the beer in a bucket that they hand you at the front desk, to the hidden patio for deluxe guests (of which I was not one).

I suggested that they begin a program for locals that just like hanging out at the Ace Hotel that there should be some kind of membership where one can call up the Ace Hotel around 10pm and if there are any vacancies for the night, get a room for half price. Or something like that. Doubtful that people would check in after 10, and this way they at least make some money off the empty rooms. I’ll keep suggesting it until they just give me the keys.

What a cool little hotel... by Alyssa

My friend and I wandered in off the street, and the people at the front desk were gracious enough to give us the full blown tour. They showed us the different guest rooms, the shared baths, the views. It used to be a hostel. They did a nice clean modern remodel and with fantastic minimalist decor, and you would definitely get your money’s worth for the location. All in all, a fun little tour, a cool little place.
