Exotic Meats

This store is lacking something essential—mainly, exotic meats. Honestly, what kind of store that’s named “Exotic Meats” has no exotic meats? I feel betrayed.

I’ve been spending a good amount of my online time the past couple of days reading the website IHeartBacon. Today I noticed an entry on wild boar burgers with wild boar bacon and multiple mentions of the Exotic Meats store. Since I am planning on spending my Friday evening watching lots of episodes of Lost, in which wild boar is their pantry staple, I thought it’d be fun to have some too.
I’ve always noticed the Exotic Meat store when I’ve made it far north enough on Aurora, it’s hard to miss a sign that advertises alligator, llama, wild rabbit etc…. so I was excited to have a reason to go in there. The problem was that I after driving way way up Aurora-way into Shoreline, I still hadn’t spotted it. So, I stopped in the Central Market and at the meat counter found out that, unfortunately, Exotic Meats has moved to Bellevue. I guess we’ll have to wait until Season 2 comes out to have a fun Lost theme night. But that doesn’t mean I won’t go looking for some delicious kangaroo medallions in the mean time.
