Bonney Lake

Look you guys. Every f$#king d%$m time I want to go to Mt. Ranier via 410, I have to pass through your traffic light infested hellhole. Every new season you guys sprout another crop of traffic lights and I hit every one of them! It takes 15 minutes to drive through your little two mile strip mall town. It is insane! How do you live with that crap!!! Ever WALK to a store!? ARG!!!!

Seriously. It was cute when your whole town thing was just a Wendy’s that had burgers and a bathroom but now you guys are out of hand. Stop with the damn traffic lights, okay!?

It took a while to grow on me, but I like it now. I live on a tiny little lake that’s fun to kayak in. Sure, it’s not a tourist town, but there’s lots available as far as summer work goes, which is important to me. Yeah, it’s rainy, but it’s western Washington, so no big surprises there. And who wouldn’t want to live in a place with a cute name like Bonney Lake?

Bonney Lake is a pretty drab little bedroom town. It’s growing like bonkers, and honestly, I don’t see why anyone would want to live here. The commute to anywhere is horrendous, it’s not likely that you’d be able to work here. Just strip malls and grocery stores. It’s one claim to fame was that Victor Falls used to be one of the best mountain biking places in the state. But that’s all gone now. The forests cut down to make room for more houses and strip malls.
