Creston

It’s a lovely little town and a great place to make visits in the area including Nelson, Usk, and the ferry which has a fifty (50) minute run from the north end of the lake down close to Nelson on the other side and to the south. Excellent stuff.

Couldn’t find the Kokanee brewery. Had a very disappointed husband

moved here a few years ago. It is just too small and not close enough to the shopping centres I am used to. I found it to be a kind of a transient town.

I lived in Creston for 5 years. It’s a quiet, unassuming place full of kind and gentle people. The scenery around is spectacular – gentle mountains surrounding a wide, flat valley. Kootenay Lake to the north is great for fishing and boating. Don’t miss it; take some time for yourself and really enjoy it.
