Through-hiking for you? by haakon

Does the thought of 3-6 months of hiking excite you? Do you prefer the comfort of the ground to a plush bed? Do you wish to lose >15 pounds in a natural (debatable) manner? Would a sabbatical from life appeal to you? Are you able to plan and follow through to an extraordinary degree? If so, a through-hike of 2600 miles through desert, high mountains, and beautiful country may be for you.
