French River

When my mother was 8, her family bought a cottage on Bragdon Island on the French River. The family has visited every year since then. At six months old, I learned to stand in that cottage. I learned to fish and went on my first night hikes and night swims. The land, the water, the air…it’s so unspoiled and perfect.
