National Underground Railroad Freedom Center

Our country and who we are is much more than the clothes we wear, the places we shop, or the neighborhoods we live in. It’s about what makes us American. The struggle for freedom in our country is the core of why we exist. This museum, shows of one such struggle for freedom.

If for no other reason to visit Cincinnati (and there are many, see my other posts), this would be reason enough. Plan a full day here so you can explore the exhibits and sit through the many movies that serve to give a face to the struggle slaves faced in searching for freedom.
