Good peanut sauce!

Lots of food, good atmosphere, well prepared—glad I finally went. One to keep in mind!

Tawon Thai is the best thai place in Fremont, which says a lot, given that there are at least a dozen or so thai places within walking distance. It’s also highly underrated for Seattle, overall, as well.

The clincher for me is the very large vegetarian/vegan side menu that does a really good job with these dishes—especially with tofu. The Vegetarian House soup is amazing, as well as the Yellow Curry Fried Rice.

For vegans, it doesn’t hurt to ask about possible egg content; and vegetarians (non-pescatarian) should double check about fish content.. but more often than not, you don’t have to, as you’ll be asked by the waiter or waitress.

The service is fast, the food is very flavorful and not over-oily, and the atmosphere and decor is really moody and nice.

It’s a shame this place is underrated even in Fremont. This place seriously deserves lines out the door every night.
