Worth visiting!
mmm Chocolate....
Wheni went there they gave us as much chocolate as we wanted at the start (ie they had box boxes of pieces of dream, dairy milk, dark choc, whatever – about 4 or 5 types) and they gave us a sample of each then offered us seconds if we wanted. It was to eat there as it was unwrapped. I think the idea is to give you your fill of chocolate at the start so you don’t get greedy/silly during the tour!
During the tour they gave out more samples, mainly wrapped things you could take home, like 6 roses, furry friends, dairy milk squares etc.
We were so sick from eating the free chocolate that we went to sleep when we got back to our accomodation. I woke up to the sound of my friend rustling chocolate wrappers… going for a caramel roses choc after sleeping the sickness away!

Not worth visiting!
Disappointed
When we went we’d been told that there was all the chocolate you can eat as you go around. NOT TRUE!
We got one square of chocolate at each station and it was handed out almost surgically using tongues and latex gloves. Half of the machinery was stopped with lots of very bored looking workers stood around doing nothing.
More tourists than workers or so it seemed.
The famed Cadbury shop wasn’t as good as my local supermarket price or range wise. The only major difference was that I could pay a lot of money for rejects.
I’ve been there though and I suppose that is all that is important…

Worth visiting!
Beware the samples!
Great tour… but they give you too many samples on the way round. By the time you reach the gift shop you’re too full to want to buy any chocolate! Something went cockeyed with the marketing, methinks…
