Lipscani

this place was not worth visiting…i don’t know, maye this changed…

In Amsterdam Cafe you can buy a beautiful map of the Lipscani area, made out of thousands of real photographs of the buildings (and with the cost of some jail time for photographing forbidden sites). The map is available in more languages.

This is the oldest part of Bucharest and I found it the most beautiful. Unfortunately a lot of the buildings are degraded but I found the place really fascinating and potentially wonderful if only redecorated. Go to Amsterdam Cafe and you’ll know what I mean…
