The Crab House

I went to this place and ordered their speciality. It was the Soft shell crab sandwitch. I was not sure what it would be, and when it was set in front of me, I was not pleased. It is just a soft shell crab cooked and placed between 2 pieces of bread. Its little legs were poking out of the sides of the bread and instantly made me not hungry. But I charged on and ate it anyways and I must say, the legs are not too bad if you can get past the fact that your eating legs. Its not until you bite into the thick body and you get a load of crab meat.. way too much for me. I was not pleased with my meal.

If you love seafood and would like to try out some “Low Country” cuisine, this place would be a great one to try out! You’ll find the menu here. This time around, I tried the coconut shrimp, and it is pretty good, but not my favorite. However, I am a huge fan of the popcorn shrimp. I also absolutely love “Shrimp & Grits!” If you’re scared of that combination, at least try the “Edisto Grits” as a side dish.
