Blue Ridge Parkway

When I drove this, I used a manual transmission, which was one of the best decisions. Just make sure that if you go with others, they can drive a manual – it’s a LONG drive (but doable)!

My favorite stop was Little Switzerland. A bookstore and a restaurant- all I need!

it’s very pretty, but the local animals are total beggers, and have no shame! the deer and such will walk right up to your car and demand to be fed.

Don’t live far from here. The views are beautiful. I love driving on the parkway in the fall and watching the ducks at the mill.

everyone should drive the Blue Ridge Parkway once. I recommend doing it in a warmer month if you aren’t good with twisty roads. Many scenic overlooks and good places to camp.
