How this place changed my life

I lived here in 1987. Worked at the VLA…awsome location. Not much to do but work, though.

Worth visiting!

either live here for a while or just visit for a weekend...

i lived in socorro for 3 years while i went to NMT which is a really good engineering/cs/math school and very cheap. eat at el sombrero or el camino, visit water canyon if you wanna hike around a bit which is about 20 minutes west of socorro, if you rock climb/boulder go to box canyon which is only 10 minutes west and has some really good spots
