Arapaho National Forest

Absolutely, hands down the most gorgeous area in the Rocky Mountains to hike. You’ll get the chance to climb, seek out glaciers, admire waterfalls, and experience the most breath-taking scenery on the entire hike up to the summit.

Eh, it was ok. But I was also just on I-70, so I know I didn’t see much. And i think they have had a dry year, like alot of places in this area.

I hiked along the part of Continental Divide Trail running from Devil’s Thumb Pass to Vasquez Peak. This was the real wilderness experience with glacier lakes, 4000 metres high summits and demanding ascents.
