Petersen Auto Museum

I am not really a “car person”, but I really liked this place.

I took my family there on 5-3-2008.
My wife and daughter thought the Hot Wheels exhibit was cool.
I shed a make believe tear when I saw the EV-1; the electric car which GM later had crushed and destroyed.

It’s not just the cars, it’s the history of car CULTURE. Everything from evolution of gas stations to the advent of the attached garage to the building of the mighty freeways in So. Cal. The Hollywood cars section was cool, As was the Steve McQueen exhibit (he was a huge car and motorcycle race fan—ever see Bullitt or The Great Escape?)>
