The last time I went to this place
The sushi here doesn’t blow me away, but it’s good all the same. The selection is great and they use a nice variety of ingredients. I wish the rolls were smaller and they cut smaller pieces – a lot of them are hard to eat! They start you out with free edamame, but ours was overcooked. It’s a nice place to hang out and has ok sushi.

Echoing Jaq below here
As I was part of that party. ;) But yes indeed - more an art design place than a sushi spot, if you will, and roll collapse is an issue. Still an enjoyable spot for a get-together, though, and a number of the choices were quite tasty. So no complaints from me!

The first time I went to this place
They readily accommodated our ever-expanding group of acquaintances. Two of us arrived just before 6 and grabbed a table for 7, which eventually expanded to 12(ish). The rolls are a bit pricey (standard tekka maki $7, specialty rolls $10-15) and the larger ones readily fell apart. But all were tasty and fresh. We were there pre-concert (at the Moore), and this was an excellent spot for it.

Rolls Fall Apart
Went for a late lunch once. Rolls fall apart. Other people like it, but I find it pricey and not very authentic.

its my fave. they keep on raising the price on it which is unfortunate but its incredibly tasty.
oh and if you plan to have a conversation with your friends, either a. dont sit in the bar or b. leave when the band rolls in.
