Applied agronomy by Bruno Girin
Chazuta is a small village on the river Huallaga, 2 hours away from Tarapoto on a bad dirt track. It is in no guide book, which is why very few tourists ever get there. It boasts a beautiful waterfall that is quite a challenge to get to. It is also a great example of how the science of agronomy, when applied properly, can really help local farmers make the best use of their land while keeping it healthy.
