Worth visiting!
Perfect for a rainy afternoon at Myrtle Beach...
I loved walking in the winding plastic tunnel under the huge “dangerous reef” tank, with its toothy cruising sharks, graceful sea turtle, great green moray eels, and gazillions of other fish, swimming either right next to me or right over my head. We walked through it twice.

Why I recommend this place to visitors
I have never seen an aquarium like it. When I saw the wall of 10,000 different colored fish, it blew my mind.

visiting ripley's aquarium
we visit the aquarium every time we go to myrtle beach. the first time we entered the bird santuary was an eye opener! if you have any fear of birds like the hitchcock thriller Birds don’t go in. they are a wonder to see. flying and landing on your arm, head or shoulder to get some of the feed that the santuary sells for you to give the birds. the colorful birds are beautiful! if this is too wild for you, the butterfly exhibit may be more to your liking.
