Flagler Museum

Flagler Museum is beautiful. The comment below is a perfect example of why there’s virtually no culture in Palm Beach County. They were the only people there. Wow. Not really surprised, because everytime I’ve been there we’ve also been alone, or damn close to it. I guess everyone else in sprawl-ville just prefers to get their shop on at JCrew in the Gardens Mall. Materialism over Culture…that’s what West Palm is all about.

I visited the Whitehall Flagler Museum today, December 15, 2005, with my fiancée. We were probably the only people in the whole estate. It is a very grand house, and an important piece of Florida history.
