Worth visiting!

The Dykman farmhouse is the oldest standing house in Manhattan. It dates back to the 1760s and was the home of the family who owned a lot of upper Manhattan back in the day. Inwood (home to the Cloisters) was bucolic right up to the turn of the century—so things like Inwood hill park and the farmhouse that seem out of place in Manhttan are just a couple of the little treasures to be found up here.

You will find it at Broadway and 204th Street. It is staffed by volunteers who will tell you about the place and show you around.
