Blaine

I was about 9 years old, and visiting my family in BC, right across the border. I came to Blaine for a day and bought some toy soldiers with American money (ooooh!). It was cool to finally see part of America!

We actually stayed in Birch Bay. Was nice. Friendly people. Wonderful rocky beach with tons of clams. Was a nice cool place to be while our home town was 110 degrees.

Kids had fun at the water slides and picking berries in nearby Lynden.
