Mars Hill Bible Church

I don’t know if I’ll ever go back. I like Rob’s style of speaking, but the whole setup is not really for me. The place is so big that you feel like a grain of sand in the ocean. I smiled at everyone who I made eye contact with and said hi to a few people, but not 1 out of hundreds of people who’s paths I crossed tried to initiate a conversation with me.

I have never been more scared ever in my entire life. Everyone acted as if they had taken a hit of acid and seen the face of God smiling back at them. If your in to being part of a crowd then go, otherwise go do something more useful for God and go help the needy.

Great place to go. I never felt like an outcast.

One of the most interesting things about Mars Hill is that it meets at an old mall.

if you’re OK with large crowds, and don’t mind feeling like a fish in the sea… check it out. great church. rob bell (pastor) is author of velvet elvis. good book. good guy.
