Indianapolis Motor Speedway

My only trip there was when I was 11. My best friend’s dad took my best friend and me there for time trials in 1963. We sat in the stands behind pit row and did our best to use our stopwatches . . . don’t have any idea where we got those . . . to time each racer and try to calculate how fast they were going. We had a blast!!!!!! One of my best memories.

1997 Brickyard 400 Ricky Rudd won….my grandpa gets tickets every year for seats coming out of turn four…you cant see all the way around is the bad thing about going to a race here but we go to be at a race.

I saw two of the famed 500 races when I was a kid. It is still to this day the only auto race I pay attention to. I went in 1973, a race marred by tragedy and rain, and again in 1975, which was just marred by rain.

I was drunk and couldnt find my car for like 3 hours.

I went to the Indy 500 with my friend Nichole we had a blast…We got to watch the race from the andretti green suite! I got to meet all the drivers and go to the after parties! It was too much fun!

And don’t forget the Indy speedway museum. It’s actually pretty interesting.

a friend of mine lives there and he says the drag racing is freaking awesome! they just recently had SUPER CHEVY SUNDAY!!! they don’t do that around here anymore and I want to go SO BAD!!! but I hear indianapolis is JUST AWESOME!!!

I’m not much on racing..

But partying in the in field was a blast!
