Morning Glory Chai is the best! Get it extra spicy. Try the vegetarian/vegan food (mmmmmm pizza), and the coffee/chai mixtures. Chill and listen to good music.

Three months later, I still can’t find the “chaihouse” hotspot. There is something with a generic “linksys” SSID that is wide open (not even a WEP key). It has the strongest signal of anything I can pick up, so maybe it’s theirs.

They advertise free WiFi, but the last time I was there, I was hitting someone else’s WAP and couldn’t find theirs. I tried to tell them theirs wasn’t working, but they just stared at me.

This is the best coffee / chai / tea / whatever place in Ballard. Cool waitstaff, interesting people-watching possibilities, and the chai is amazing. Try the Ruby Tuesday, where they add pomegranate syrup and lemon juice to the chai…
