The strangest Catholic shrine and botanical garden I’ve ever been to. Ok, so I’ve never been to a Catholic shrine and botanical garden before, but trust me when I say it’s a little weird. Between Thanksgiving and Xmas it’s all lit up with colorful lights, thick with carolers, and plastered with nativity scenes. There are musical concerts galore and huge gift shops. A petting zoo and puppet show for the tikes. And corporate sponsorships! Yeah, they got it all.
