Antonio's Pizza

Not everyone is going to love this place (my fallback position is Cottage Inn, so you know my bias) but it’s many people’s favorite place to get pizza in Amherst, if not in New England! The key is to come armed with plenty of patience, as traditionally there is not enough space for everyone to get in line, so they wrap around the counter in a snake like line. On busy nights there’s no way to get a seat, but that just means it’s time to take your slices out on the town, for a little walk.

This is the tastiest and most creative pizza I’ve ever had. The service is fast and furious, the crust is thin without being too crispy, and the topics range from salad to seafood to roasted potatoes to plain old pepperoni. If you’re ever in Western Massachusetts, you must stop by Antonio’s for a slice.
