A review of this place: Summers in the Bend
Although there are plenty of beaches around, Pt. Stanley, Bayfield etc. Grand Bend is a great place for young people. I go every summer, as many friends live there and work during ‘tourist season’ The locals are great, Gables Bar is fantastic for its tankers (jugs of booze)
The whole atmosphere in Grand Bend is fun!

Party In The Summer
My uncle and aunt and cousins had a cottage up here that they stayed at for the summer. We used to visit at least once a year as a kid. The beaches were great and the downtown area was pretty hopping as I got older. Fun little touristy place in the summer and dead in the winter.

Da Bend
Grand Bend is fun. Go on a long weekend during the summer and this small town turns into PARTY CENTRAL! Nice beach, one “main drag” of surf shops and lots of cottages to rent (ASK me – I know a guy…). If you’re 15-35, put it on the top of your list. Older folks might want to try Bayfield.
