Enchanting .... :) by bugeaters
One feels dwarfed by the massive doug fir and redwood trees that surround you. Under the canopy the ground is covered with oak brush, bay trees, moss, fern, mushrooms and banana slugs. When my children were younger we called it the enchanted forest; half expected fairies and elves to be spotted. Full moon nights are a great time to be there.
To get the rain forest atmosphere there has to be a lot of rain; beware of mudslides, and I don’t mean the beverage!
