Nosy Be

I wandered around through Hell-ville with my sister. We bought a package of saffron for “one American dollar.” We made friends with some of the local children.

It was a very friendly place. People tended to not really bother us very much. I would have liked to spend more time there.

This island is one of the few developed holiday resorts in Madagascar but is still quite unspoilt. You can see lemurs, scuba dive, eat great French / Malgache cooking and drink the local Rhum with fruit in it.
