Mr. Bartley's Burger Cottage

They were closed in September 2008 due to a kitchen fire but have reopened as of October 2008!

This place has the best burgers I’ve ever had. I haven’t been able to find their equal (unfortunately for me, because I live very far away!) Their onion rings are bomb (good!), and their frappes are delicious.

The decor is tacky, just the way I like it. Be sure you wear clothes that you can wash easily (no dry cleaning stuff) because you will smell like burgers and onions when you leave. (It might make people around you hungry!) Oh, and bring cash, because they don’t take credit cards.

Call before you go, because they are closed on Mondays and on some school vacations. Parking is hard to find around there, so just take the T to Harvard station.

I got a burger, fries and a frappe. The burgers are not very wide, but very thick. The fries were great, but the frappes are the best part if you ask me.
