Very relaxing by imabadpixie

Nice weather, very relaxing and the dune is really amazing. I walked to the highest peak. It was pretty hard going, and the wind is very strong at the top (so wear trousers if you dont want to get whipped by the sand) but worth every step.

Going down was the best bit though!

Nice holiday, but i stayed abit far away from the town.

Great dune by sontimalonti

Just outside Arcachon, above a fantastic campsite, it has this fantastic high dune which then slopes gently down towards the sea. It takes seven minutes to climb up, then you can HURL yourself over it and tumble down without hurting yourself, even flat on your face, it’s amazing.
