Dawson Creek

please. If you ever go there realize that this is not the same place as the show.
Its not funny either…you know how many times Iv heard that joke? basically everytime I tell someone Iv lived there.
seriously.

Dawson Creek is not the most amazing town by any means…
but once you live there for a while, it always sucks you back in.
I miss it.

The city itself is by no means worth visiting, but the country around it is beautiful, and the northern lights are visible a lot of the time. If you have to go here, go horseback riding, hiking, or camping. Avoid the city like the plague; it is filled with disreputable people.

Our family drove down the Alcan (Alaska Highway). I think it is paved now, but at the time it was gravel, and we went bumpity-bump down it in our truck-n-camper like Fisher-Price people in the bus.

Uh all I remember about Dawson’s Creek was how very flat it is compared to the earlier bit of the Alaska Highway. Also, some roadsigns confused me and a nice localman helped me.
