Northwest Trek

It is decent enough, there is a tram ride through the area with goats, lambs, bisons and deers which is the highlight. They are few other animals including 1 cougar, 3 bears and other smaller animals.
I would pick a zoo over this, except as a novelty.

The safari in Central Oregon is more varied and much better,

This place is a much cooler version of a zoo. First you walk around to all the animal pits. There are lynx, bobcats, cougars, coyotes, bears, foxes, wolves, owls, eagles, TONS of cool animals. And even though they’re in enormous cages, you can still get pretty close to them. After you’re done walking around & eating cookies in the cafe, you hop on a 35-40 minute tram ride around the rest of the 600+ acres, where you see up close and personally: elk, moose, deer, goats, buffalo, swans, bighorn sheep, pretty much every animal there is. It is a blast – if you like animals, you will love this place.

When going to a place like this you really need to bring some kids. If you don’t have any of your own, borrow some of your friends’ kids. (For this your friends will thank you till the end of time.)

The same goes for zoos, aquariums, and other touristy stuff. Bring some kids and you’ll enjoy and appreciate it more.
