I Luv the academy!!!!Last time hmm must have been the kooks so long ago! I miss It but anyway I was so drunk I nearly didn’t get in but the cool guy with spiky black hair an a blonde streak thats dead tall let me in!I met him when I went to see panic at the disco an he is ace so give him some love!

The Academies are without a doubt my favourite gig venues in Manchester. Academy 1 and 3 are without a doubt my favorite. Would recomend these to anyone :)

i honestly never thought i would be telling people to go here, but i suppose if you have the chance. i saw i am kloot in 1, hawthorne heights in 2 (not my choice) and the massively sold out decemberists in 3. all great fun but there is no need to finish at 10:30! check out the awesome teenage graffiti out front of the union as you leave…

these three little venues in the manchester uni campus host the very best gigs.

ranging from the teeny weeny academy 3 for your new upcoming little bands. academy 2 for the bands on their way to the top (and back down again). to academy 1, the largest of them, hosting bands like ash, razorlight, the kaiser chiefs. etc etc
