Nice store, nice stuff, nice folks
Very comfortable, cool selection, artfully displayed.
Stop by and ask Karen how the store got it’s name.

cute accessories for you and your home
I’ve passed by this store a million times, but I’ve never stopped in. I spotted the cutest umbrellas in the store window today and luckily Daniel and Erik humoured me and stopped in with me so that I could by it. It’s pink! J’adore!

She destroyed the display for us.
Karen, the store owner, cut the pink umbrella down from the window display in order to sell it to us. That was nice of her.
I love the name Urchin (it being one of my favorite sushis, weirdest animals in existence, and now cool new store near my house), and loved the little dried sea urchins placed here and there as subtle reminders of the place’s name. Urchin!

The ideal downtown boutique
I by chance walked into Karen Cho’s new boutique today, Urchin, located on first avenue in downtown Seattle. Score! The strength of any store like this rests in it’s owner’s selection and taste in varied household and personal accesories. Karen wins on all levels—exceptional taste and attention to the finer details puts Urchin on par with the joints I normally associate with small shops in Manhattan.
I plan to buy soon. Rock on, Karen.
