Our bus got a flat on the way to Baños, so we stopped here for a couple of hours while the they fixed it. That pretty much sums up my one and only experience in Ambato.

Since these are mostly rural people, they start early, so make sure you arrive early as well! It’s just that there are so many places in Ecuador that are better places to visit.
