Worth visiting!
How this place changed my life
I had family here and used to travel down wioth my Gran to visit – A nice little town, not too dis-similar to Halifax… Except Halifax is much greyer.
I’ve not been in over 10 years and think about the place often – I do intend on returning one day, I have unfinished business in the Octagan with a certain flower shop owner.

The last time I went to this place
While on a bicycle trip in England, I was interested in visiting Hughendon Manor, home of Benjamin Disraeli. I set off from London with a friend and made it all the way to Hughendon, only to discover that it was closed due to a bank holiday. It was a good reminder to always find out about bank holidays and other closures before trekking off to the hinterlands.

I stopped in High Wycombe on my way to London from Bicester. A very nice lady, Helen, used to live in High Wycombe before she met her husband. Helen is eighty this year and visits her sister often. If you visit High Wycombe you have to go on the hill to see the mausoleum and the caves.

footy on the rye in summer is always a good laugh- we usually end up playing against randoms and then heading to the pub for a pint. hopefully the city redevelopments will speed up and it might even be a nice town. someone really needs to make a decent nightclub there thogh- recon theyd make fortune if they put it by the train station
