When I first visited this place I was shocked of the cheap prices of everything ( from parlors to meat products).......Guys ONLY in Malaybalay you can find a BBQ that only costs 2.00 pesos WOW!!..and of course how can I forget the warmth of the people there..thou I really cant understand VISAYAN…..plus the cool climate…..I hope I can go back there again and feel the lay back type of life….I’ll never forget this place…..

The person who wrote the song ‘The long and winding road’ must have been to Bukidnon. Malaybalay is a two hour ride from Cagayan de Oro. Apart from the really long and winding road, the lovely view of the mountains and the smell of fresh air welcomes visitors to this very clean and cool place. I haven’t gotten around much but having been to the monk’s monastery more than makes up for it.
