Wish I’d found it sooner – such a beautiful place and such friendly people. I got the local bus from Waikiki for just $2USD, spent the day on the most beautiful white, sandy beach & swam in crystal clear waters. Would really love to go back some day and spend more time there. about 1 year agoUntitled by bailey1230This town is where I live on the Island with my boyfriend. Waikiki is nice and all but the windard side of the island is much more iconic and that is where Kailua is as well. That is the big question. It’s laidback, peaceful, spiritual, paradise. Everything I want to be. over 5 years agoOur Last Day by joie16We found our way to Kailua on our last day in Oahu. The waters were calmer than North Shore ;) and the sand was really fine. This seems to be the spot for kayakers. We’ll definitely go back and make a stop at the local zippy’s for portuguese sausage, eggs and fried rice. YUMMY! over 5 years agoSee all 9 entries |
