Tourism and sun by niggen
This place is about tourism and sun. And a little nightlife. In the middle of Puerto Rico, you`ll find the local supermarked. A big one. Although there are dull places here (almost every shop is offering the same products), you will also find some pearls. A place you want to go to eat is “El Toro”, and “Bubbles”. There are also a great dinner place, on the other side from “Bubbles”. Don`t remember the name. Sorry. (“San Miguel”, maby?)
The beach in Puerto Rico is worth a visit, but the greatest beach to visit is the Amadores. You can reach this beach if you go south east on the beautiful path that leads from Puerto Rico to Amadores. This is a “build up” beach with some of the sand coming from Sahara
Puerto Rico is a popular tourism holliday place, with a lot of englishmen, finns, danes, swedes and norwegians. Becarefull persons who wants to sell you appartments or watches. The problems with people selling watches has been very small the last 2 years, but the Time Share Appartment-selling persons are still at the beach. Another thing you should know of, is not to visit the first electronic store on the east side of beach with a Pharmacy on the second floor. His name is Jai, and he`s an exellent talker. He talked me to buy a crappy camera. Good work, man. OK. Enough about him :)
If you look for a place to stay, I`ll recommend Sun Suites Hotel. A little away from the beach, but a lovely promenade in the morning. Closely to the Shopping Center. A great breakfast, and clean rooms.
For the more luxury stay, I will recommend the last Hotel i stayed at Marina Suites, located at the local small craft harbor. A GREAT view, and the dinner is out of this world :)=
Fantastic rooms in quarry marble. Perfect for hot summer days. Afternoon sun, so you can view the sunset every day.
